The trek to Addis by  the TPLF is  getting cold by the day and its  move now is publicly denounced and prohibited by its  allies (the  US government  and some countries within the EU).  Pressure is also mounting on the TPLF to stop the nearly five months  war  in  the Amhara and the Afar regions and return to Mekele/Tigray.  

A stiffened resistance  and counter offensive in the Amhara and Afar regions  is developing despite the piped up and suffocating US  and its cohort’s propaganda. It  seems the West’s shrill has the opposite of its desired effect of creating chaos in Ethiopia and Ethiopians are now solidly united behind PM Abiy.

However, currently the  US is actively seeking to divide the Oromos and in dire search  for an alternative proxy group to replace the elected government of PM Abiy. Last week  millions of Oromos  came out showing their support for PM Abiy.    

The latest US effort in creating this Oromo division can be seen by the creation of an alliance   of the willing reported on November 5, 2021 by Reuters .  Berhane Gebre Kristos, the TPLF representative  gathered the group  in Washington DC.

The group called themselves the  United Front of Ethiopian Federalist and Confederalist Forces, with the “intention to oust Abiy”. (see https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/nine-ethiopian-groups-form-anti-government-alliance-2021-11-05/)

In addition to the TPLF, Reuters reports the group consists “ eight other groups in the new coalition; of those, the OLA is among the most prominent”.

 PM Abiy enjoys the support of most Oromo and Amhara people as shown by the recent elections and the  demonstrations in the country that took place a few days ago, however the US covertly operates behind  this TPLF led new alliance  to fight against PM Abiy’s government. US has slated this  previously as a  project which includes splitting  the Oromo support of PM Abiy by working with the likes of OLF(Shene).   OLF(Shene) is an armed group like the TPLF that has also been designated as a terrorist group by Ethiopia’s legislative body.  

OLF Shene and the fringe groups in the new alliance are going around specifically messaging to  the Oromo citizenry  not to send the Oromo youth to fight Abiy’s war in the North (Tigray, Amhara and Afar).  

The US has also began creating, assisting and enabling activities to demonize PM Abiy in Amhara and has created splintered fringe groups  to create fear, doubt and uncertainty among the Amhara people.   The covert US activities led by the TPLF activists includes a fringe group in Kimant, along with other traitor Amhara intellectuals  like Dawit Wolde-Gihorgis and  diaspora based  outlets (like 360) who spew pernicious propaganda  against the ENDF and PM Abiy.

The false narrative and propaganda confuse the  well meaning Amharas militia,  Fano and some in the diaspora who should be focusing  on the number one and two enemies of the nation (the TPLF and the OLF Shene terrorists ). They are engaged in  redirecting their venom  on PM Abiy.
