Don’t Bet on US, EU Predictions on PM Abiy’s Government

The “magic dragons” are puffing smoke again. The first puff was “no elections in Ethiopia’ until a consultative meeting with “stakeholders”, “opposition figures” and their favorite “bandits”, but the election took place peacefully and ended peacefully.

The second puff was mobilizing the world to block the second filling of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD). At the United Nations Security Council, the non Western world voted against or abstained and did not buy into the West’s BS. But that is history now because the second GERD filling is completed.The dragons third puff was constant bitching for access in Tigray and they got it, but the bitching continues louder with all its hues and permutations.

And the puff now is “ a coup imminent ?” We have better odds with Ethiopian local wizards and witches who have better predictions than these dragons.

As Ethiopia walks, all be it a step at a time towards democracy, the behemoth modern day Goliath that is US roams the world with the most destructive power and darwinian mode of existence (eat or be eaten). It has also the prowess of the night king Dracula. It won’t hesitate to use its fangs (weapons) on anyone … just ask our neighbors in the region.

Poor countries are blown away directly and indirectly under one pretext or another and to the “victor goes the loot”, as one American general said after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein’s government and the looting of Iraq’s oil followed.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s democracy reforms and the recent elections is starting to out shine that of the US. PM Abiy is a Nobel Peace Prize recipient for reversing the longtime state of “no war no peace” and ended the border conflict with Eritrea.

One morning in1962 as a young boy in Addis, I was walking to a church nearby to serve an early morning mass and from an open window across the street a beautiful lady hollered at me profanities for no reason. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her stunning face, but the words coming out of her mouth blistered my little heart. She was a prostitute.

Today’s profanities that come out from unsavory foreign “diplomats” in high places can bleed not only the heart of the meek but shake up the faith of an enduring friendship of a nation.

The “he said she said” acrimonies to create further chaos and divisions among Ethiopians from external actors and “diplomats” in the country truly requires attention. The government of PM Abiy has through his minister, Mr. Redwan warned “diplomats” to behave or face steel toed booting out of the country.

The TPLF goons continue their probing attacks in small villages and towns using children soldiers. TPLF hungry kids are forced to loot whatever they get their hands on to survive. It has turned them into roving bandits. They shoot on aid trucks entering Mekele and some among them are selected by the TPLF cadres to give a small spiel to foreign agents so that they write or make noise globally on their behalf.

Encircling of Tigray by Ethiopian regional armies and the ENDF has put the TPLF in check for now and according to the Generals Jula and Bacha, they are biding their time and waiting for their marching orders from the political leadership of PM Abiy, who is determined to fight on his own terms.

ዶክተር አቢይ ወደ ሥልጣን እንደመጡ አንዱ ለኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ የገቡት ቃል መገናኛ ብዙሃንን (ሚዲያዎችን) ነፃ ማድረግ ነበር። እስካሁን ድረስ ዶክተር አቢይ ይኼንን ለኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ የገቡትን ቃል አክብረዋል። ማንበቡን ስትቀጥሉ ይኼ ሀሳብ ግልፅ ይሆናል። 

እስካሁን እደሚታየው የግል መገናኛ ብዙሃን ትንተና ከአገር ገንቢ ሀሳብ አንስቶ እስከ አገር አፍራሽ የሆኑ ሀሳቦችን ሲያቀርቡ ይደመጣሉ። አንዳንዶቹ የመገናኛ ብዙሃን ተቋማት ብሔር ተኮር ናቸው።በተለይ የክልሎቹ ። ሌሎችም የግል የሆኑ ብሔር ተኮር የሆኑ አሉ/ነበሩ።

ኢትዮጵያውያ ውስጥ ዋልታ ረገጥ ሀሳቦች ላለፉት ሦስት ዓመታት እንደልብ ሲቀርቡ ሲለፈፉ ሲተቹ ተስተውለዋል። አንዳንዶቹ አስተያየቶች ለሰው ልጆች ሕይወት መጥፋት፡ ለብዙ ንብረት መውደም ምክንያት ሆነዋል። አንዳንዶቹ ሃሳቦች የኢትዮጵያኖችን ህልውና በማደንዘዝ በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የሚካሄደውን ለውጥ ለመቀልበስ ሌት ተቀን ሲታታሩ ይታያሉ። 

ሁለቱን ማለት ኢትዮ 360ና የትግራይ ቴሌቪዥን / የትግራይ ሚዲያ ሐውስን እንጥቅስ። የሁለቱ ዐላማ በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የሚካሄደው ለውጥ እንዳይሳካ ማድረግ ነው። አመጣጣቸው ከሁለት የተለያዩ አቅጣጫዎች ነው። የትግራይ ቴሌቪዥን / ትግራይ ሚዲያ ህዋስን ማስረዳት አያስፈልግም። ምክንያቶቹ ግልፅ ስለመሰለን። የኢትዮ 360ን ለማስረዳት የሚከተሉትን እንይ። 

ለአለፉት አመታት ከኢሳት ተገጥለው እራሳቸውን ኢትዮ 360 ብለው መጠራት ከጀመሩ ጊዜ አንስቶ(አራት አቅራቢዎች) ፤ ስፍር ቁጥር የሌለው የኢትዮጵያውያን ዜጎችን እርስ በርሳቸው እንዲጠራጠሩ ሰፋ ያለ ሥራ ሰርተዋል። ኦሮሞው አማራውን፡ አማራው ኦሮሞን እንዳያምን የጥላቻ መርዝ ረጭተዋል። በትግራይ ያለው የትግራይ ቴሌቪዥን / የትግራይ ሚዲያ ሐውስ ዶክተር አብይን አሃዳዊ ጨፍላቂ እይያሉ ሲግልፁ፡ የ360ዋ እንስት ደግሞ የኦሮሙማ የበላይነት አደጋ ኢትዮጵያውያ ላ መጥቷል እያለች ሁለቱም አንድላይ በመሆነ በየአቅጣጫው የሚስብኩት ሁለት ወይም ሦስት ግቦችን መቶላቸዋል። 

በግንባር ቀደምትነት እነዚህ ግለሰቦች ሁሉንም የለውጡ ሪፎርሞችን በኦሮሙማ መነፅር በማየት ሥራቸው መቃወም ወይም ማቀርሸት ነው።የሚሊታሪ ሪፎርም፣ የፍርድ ቤቶች፣የምርጫ ሕግና የምርጫ ቦርድ መዋቅር… ወዘተ የመሣሠሉትን ለውጦች ባልተሟሉ መረጃዎች ፤ አንዳንዴ ደግሞ ከኪሳቸው ባወጡት መረጃ የሚመስል ግን ፍብረካና/ልብ ወለዶችን በመጠቀም ለውጦቹን በሙሉ የኦሮሙማ ጥላሸት በመቀባት ነው። 

ሌላው ድርጊታቸው ደግሞ ተቃዋሚ ነን በሚል ሰበብ የዶክተር አቢይን መንግሥት የሚቃወሙትንና ኢትዮጵያውያን ለማፍረስ በሚጥሩ የሚታወቁ ግለሰቦችን በመጋበዝ “ኦሮሞ መጣብህ ” የሚለውን ሆይሆይታ ማስተጋባት ነው። 

ይኼ ሁሉ የሚደረገው ደግሞ ዋሽንግተን ዲሲ እስቱዲዮ ውጥ ቁጭ ብለው ነው። ቀንደኛ/አውራ የሚመስልው ሰውዬ ደግሞ መጽሔት ከጀርባው በመደርደር አዋቂነቱን ለማሳየት በሚመስል ይሄ ማትስ 101 ነው፡   ይሄ ኢኮኖሚክስ 101 ነው ይሄ ሳይኮሎጂ 101 እያለ በዚያን ቀን በሚያወራው አርእስት የዶክተር አብይን አለማወቅ ለማሳየት ሲሞክር፡  ከዚህ በኋላ ሁሉም ባንድ ላይ ዶክተር አቢይን እንደተራ ሰው ክቡሩን በማሳነስ፤እንደተራ መንገደኛ መምራት የማይችል ፡የዞረበት፤ አገሪቱ  መሪ የሌላት እያሉ ተራ በተራ የአስተሳሰባችውን ክብደት በሚመዝን/በሚያጋልጥ ቃላቶችን ሲቀባበሉ ይታያሉ። ልጅቷም ዶክተር አብይን ለማጥቃት በሚል ይመስላል የሰውን ህሊና በሚያስክፉ ቃላት ጥያቄዎችን ታቀርባልች።ይሄ በኢትዮ 360  የሚታይ የየቀኑ ከኣማኑኤል የሚላክ መልክት ነው።  

ይኼ ሁሉ የሚደረገው ለአማራው ሕዝብ ጥብቅና መቆም በሚል ነው። አውራው በአለፉት 15ና 20 ዓመታት የአማራን ሕዝብ ያስጠቃ ፡ንሰሃ ምን መሆኑን ያልተረዳ ስለሆነ ሕብረተሰባችን አፍ ከመያዝ ምን ይበል? አማራውን ብቸኛ የማድረግ አባዜም ከመቀሌም የሚሰማ ጩሄት መሆኑንም ይገነዘብ ይሆን?

አሳዛኙ ግን ኢትዮጵያውያ ውስጥ ብዙ ወጣቶች በዚህ በሚዲያ ሥራ የተሰማሩ ተስፋ የሚጣልባቸውና ችሎታቸው በደንብ የሚታይ ሆኖ ሳለ አንዳንዶቹ ግን በኢትዮ 360 ቫይረስ የተበከሉ ይመስላል። ለምሳሌ አውድማ ፕሮግራም ጥሩ ሆኖ ሳለ ወጣቶቹ የግድ ጥሩውን ነገር ለማፍረስ የግድ ድንጋይ መፈንቀል ያለባቸው ይመስላቸዋል። በነገራችን ላይ አንድ ዓይነት ወይም ተመሳሳይ  ሀሳብ ለመስጠት ደግሞ ሦስት ሰዎች አያስፈልጉም። 

በሦስተኛ ደረጃ አመሪካ ውስጥ እንዲህ ዓይነት እንደ ኢትዮ 360 ሚዲያ ያሉት የገቢ ምንጭ መሆናቸውን አንዘንጋ። የግለሰቦችን ስሜት ቀስቅሶ ፡አስለቅሶ አብዛኛውን ጊዜ ደግሞ ባልተረጋገጠ መrvጃ “አሁን የደረሰን” በሚል አስደንጋጭ መልክት ገንዘብ መሰብሰብ ነው።

እንደኛው እኛ በበጎ ፈቃዳችን የምንገብረው ሲሆን ፡ “ያቺን ደወል ስንጫን” ዩቱብም ዶላር ይከፈላቸዋል።  የሚጮሁት ታዲያ ለምን መሰላችሁ? አረንጓዴው ዶላር እየታያቸው ነው። በልባቸው እየሳቁ ዶላርዋን ይዘው ወደ ባንክ ቤት ይሮጣሉ።   አንዳንድ ቀን ዛሬ ብዙ ተመልካች አለን ብለው የሚደሰቱት ለምን እንደሆነ ይገባችኋል። 

የነዚህ ታሪክ ተጽፎ የሚያልቅ አይደለም። እስክንድርን/ባልደራሰን አብንንም ሲጠቀሙ ይታያሉ። እይታውና አካሄዱ ጀርባዬን እከከኝ ጀርባህን ልከክልህ ይመስላል።

አብዛኛውን ጊዜ ሲመፃደቁ ይሰማሉ።  “የዛሬ ሁለት ዓመት” “የዛሬ ዓመት” እያሉ ጊዜ በመቁጠር “ለአብይ ነግረነው ነበር” ሲሉ ይሰማሉ። የዶክተር አቢይን ፖሊሲ አንድም ቀን በእውነት ሲናገሩ አይሰሙም። 

አንዱማ ለዶክተር አቢይ የለውጥ ሮድ ማፕ ሰጠሁ ያለው እስር ቤት ነው። እነዚህ ደግሞ  እሱን መተካታቸው ይሆን? አስር ቤት ያለው ኦሮሞን አነሳስቶ አማራ ላይ እዲዘምት ነበር። እነዚህኞቹ ከመቕለ ጋር በመናበብ  ላለፉት ዘመናት ያካሄዱትን እንደገና ለማካሄድ ማለት አማራው ከኦሮሞ እንዲጋጭ ሙከራ እያደረጉ ነው። አንሞኝም … ነቅተናል እንበላቸው። 

በተለይ ምዕራባዊያን በአሜሪካ መሪነት አገራችን ላይ እየተካሄደ ያለውን  “የወያኔን ግርግር” በመጠቀም የጎነጎኑትን ሴራ ለማከናወን የዘመኑ “ጫላቢዎች” ማለትም በሻለቃው በዳግመ ልደትና ባንድራ አጃቢን በማሰለፍ ኢትዮጵያ ለመግባት የተዘጋጁ ይመሰላሉ። 

እስከአሁን ያየነው የኢትዮ 360 ባሕሪይ  ዐላማውና ጠባዩ የአቢይን መንግሥት መገልበጥ ወይም ማስገልበጥ ሲሆን ፡ እግረመንገዳቸውንም በአረንጓዴ ዶላር መክበር ነው። ውጭ ላለነው የሚታየን ግምት ስለሆነ አገር ውስጥ ካላችሁትም አንጋራው ብለን ነው።

The Ethiopian National Election Board announces the June 21, 2021 National Elections

The Ethiopian National Election Board (NEB) announced results of the June 21,2021 elections and Prosperity Party has won 410 out of the 436 contested seats in the House of People’s Representatives.

Security issues deterred voting in some woredas (constituencies) and they are scheduled for voting in a few weeks. A total of 547 seats constitute the Federal parliament.

The elections were peaceful and some irregularities in some regions were reported by the NEB which included intimidation of observers and the forgery of documents.

NEB board chair Birtukan Mideksa stated that lots of lessons learned from the process and reassured the nation that transfer power will be through elections from here on. 

The honorable NEB board chair took the time to detail the efforts of the young election workers determination to make the election a success. She thanked the leading staff for taking up the challenges of laying the foundation of a reformed, nacent, strong institution. 

At the same time, the Washington Post decried PM Abiy’s governance with negative propaganda with a headline on “how Ethiopia claims to have laid down its arms” as it continues to weaponize starvation in Tigray…with choice words such asfamine, difference between life and death, government blockade, no commercial flights can get in or out, land routes blocked etc,…… in and out of Tigray.

አሁን ወደ ቨኔሳ ፀሃዬ  (Vanessa Tsehaye) 

የአሁኑ/የዛሬ ስሟ ሲሆን የልጅነት ስሟ ግን ቨኔሳ በርሄ ነበር ። ቨኔሳ በርሄ የስዊድን ዜጋ ናት። በእስዊድን ከሚኖሩ ኤርትራውያን ቤተሰብ የተወለደች ናት። 

ቨኔሳ በርሄ አምስት ዓመት ሲሞላት አጎቷ ሥዩም ፀሃዬ ኤርትራ አሥር ቤት ውስጥ መሆኑ ተነገራት። ይኼንን ከሰማችበት ቀን ጅምሮ አጎቷን የማስፈታት የኑሯዋ ዐላማ አደረገች። አንደኛ ደረጃና ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤት በነበረች ግዜ ገንዘብ በማሰባሰብ አጎቷን ለማስፈታት ያደረገችው ጥረቷ አልተሳካም፤ ሁኔታውም አልፈቀደም ነበር። 

ቨነሳ ፀሃዬ ብላ እራሷን መጥራት የጀመረችው በፈረንጆች አቆጣጠር በ2018/2019 አካባቢ ይመስላል። ቨኔሳ ፀሃዬ ዕድሜ ልኳን የኤርትራን መንግስት ስትቃወም የኖረች አክቲቪስት ናት ።

በዐቢይ ኖቤል ሽልማት ላይ ትልቅ ተቃውሞ አቅርባለች። ለኤርትራ ሕዝብ ነፃነት አያመጣም ኢሳያስን ያጠናክራል በማለት ይመስላል። ሆኖም ግን በማይታወቅ ተአምር በNovember 2020 ቨነሳ ፀሃዬ የአምነስቲ ኢንተርናሽናል የአፍሪካ ቀንድ የሰብአዊ መብት ተሟጋች ድርጅት መሪ ሆና ተሾመች። ይኼ ምን ማለት ነው? ይኼ እንዴት ሊሆን ቻለ?

አንዱ የተባበሩት መንግስታት የሰብአዊ መብቶች ድርጅት ግንባር ቀደም ዓላማው በሁኔታዎች ላይ አድሎ አለማሳየት “urgency of impartiality”  የሚል መርሆ ሲሆን ፤እዚህ ላይ እንዴት አድርጎ ነው አድሎ አለማሳየት የሚቻለው?

የተባበሩት መንግሥታት የሰብአዊ መብት ድርጅትና አምነስቲ ኢንተርናሽናል አብረው ስለሚሰሩ፡ ማለትም ታላቅና ታናሽ ፡ የአንዱ ግመገማ ለሌላኛው ድርጅት ስለሚያገለግል፤ የቨነሳ ፀሃዬ የቅፅበት ሹመት በጣም የሚያጠያይቅ ነው። 

ቨነሳ ፀሃዬ ምን ያህል ገለልተኛ መሆን ትችላለች? ኢሳይያስንና አብይን ትቃወማለች።

በትግራይ የተደረጉት ሰብኣዊ መብት ጥሰቶች ሪፖርት አቀነባባሪ ቨኔሳ ፀሃዬ ናት። የተባበሩት መንግስታት የሰብአዊ መብት የሚጠቁመው ይሄንኑ ሪፖርት ነው። ቨኔሳ ፀሃዬ የአክሱምን ጭፍጨፋ ሪፖርት ያቀነባበረች ናት። 

በኢትዮጵያ ላይ የተጠነሰሰ ሴራ ያለ ይመስላል። የተባበሩት መንግስታት ቅርንጫፍ ድርጅቶች በሙሉ የተሞሉት ኢትዮጵያውያንን ለማንበርከክ ከአመሪካ መልእክት የተቀበሉ ይመስላሉ። ስለዚህ ማናቸውም ለኢትዮጵያ ጥሩ ነገር ያስባሉ ብሎ አይታመንም።

ማንም የሚያየው ነገር ቢኖር ቨኔሳ ፀሃዬ (በርሄ) ፅናቷዋና ለቆመችለት ዐላማ የከፈለችውን ዋጋ ነው። 

Ethiopia’s Unilateral Ceasefire and the West’s (US & EU) Encouragement of TPLF’s Warmongering

After the TPLF’s 27 years dictatorship was overthrown by a spontaneous rebellion and PM Haile Mariam resigned , PM Abiy was elected in April 2018 by the Ethiopian Peoples Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) to finish the term. PM Abiy immediately began reforms. 

The TPLF settled in Mekele and removed itself from the coalition during the transition of the EPRDF to the Prosperity Party. Though unsuccessful, the TPLF resisted every reform measure by PM Abiy and carried on innumerable direct and indirect actions to eliminate PM Abiy and his reforms. 

PM Abiy, over the last three years continued as a transitional leader until the June 21, 2021 successful elections. Prosperity Party won the election by 410 votes and his party now is headed to take power in October this year. 

TPLF”s eight months war that began in November 2020 against PM Abiy became the last act for most of the TPLF leadership and PM Abiy declared a unilateral cease fire on June 28, 2021 in Tigray, a move that pulled back the ENDF and Eritrean forces out of Tigray Killil ending the current conflict. 

The move was unexpected and concerned US Senator Coons, whose shuttle diplomacy to Addis has not born fruit so far. He wanted to know about the security of his staff after the sudden evacuation of the ENDF from Tigray. 

During this conflict with the TPLF, the West, with help from their experts, predicted a long protracted war with no end in sight. They envisioned the displacement of the majority of the region’s population and an ever widening war that will involve the horn region countries . So far, the horn did not explode though over the years , it has always been a struggle to maintain peace in the area. The current unilateral cease-fire means PM Abiy is going to fight this war on his on terms.

So far , the ENDF destroyed most of the TPLF party heads and a significant portion of their regional army…as described on a recent interview by the TPLF general Tsadkan Gebre Tensai who rejoined the party/war and now speaks on the conflict. He said a significant size of their army and armor was decimated in the initial three weeks phase of the war. 

Despite PM Abiy’s decision for a unilateral cease-fire, the remaining TPLF heads, (including the general and the two wanted terrorist figures Getachew Reda and a weathered Debretsion Gebremichael) said they will continue the war and began fires in Wolkait-Tsegede, Alamata/ Kobo and promised too attack Asmara. Except for Asmara , their probing attacks began in the Amhara regions in the past two days. 

We hear these three TPLF party heads giving interviews on Voice of America (VOA) to let us know they are alive and mobilizing Tigrean children for war. A New York Times picture shows Tigray kids carrying arms as big as themselves. 

The current TPLF party heads continue to make contradictory demands showing a clear rift among themselves. Getachew Reda’s written set of preconditions for the Federal government is nothing short of asking the elected Ethiopian government to surrender. 

For now, the TPLF intransigence and promise to continue the war has forced the Amhara killil government to mobilize the people in the region in preparation for a defensive war. The elected government of PM Abiy and the Amhara regional government are coordinating and mobilizing to address this threat. 

What is clear is the TPLF continues its role as the sought after mole/banda in servitude of the West just as it was when it was in power. It wants to raise itself again and serve as a local mercenary force bent on the destruction of Ethiopia. Nothing depicts this more than the suffocating West propaganda supporting the TPLF and constant demand/ desire for land and air access in Tigray to fortify and militarily build the weakened TPLF.

Even after the Ethiopian and Eritrean forces have left the Killil, the West’s political and “humaitarian” propaganda campaign is ongoing daily to salvage/revive the remaining aged figureheads of TPLF terrorists. 

The West’s vociferous attempts to demonize PM Abiy’s government has backfired and the Ethiopian people votes, as announced by the National Election Board, showed who their next leader will be . 

Ethiopians are not buying the West’s chorus about “feeling concerned” about “humanitarian situations in Tigray” and other Hollywood like drama that they cook up every other day…

Ethiopians future and their daily lives depends on their unity and struggle against internal and external enemies for sometime to come.
